Victim Advisory Committee

The Victim Advisory Committee of the Criminal Justice Council was established in December 1992 as an advisory group to assist CJC Staff in the development of a VOCA program funding strategy. The funding strategy would result in distribution of funds to eligible public and private nonprofit organizations to provide direct services to crime victims. The VAC reviews all concepts submitted, incorporate CJC Staff recommendations, develop a funding recommendation and submit it to the full Criminal Justice Council for approval.
