JUVENILE JUSTICE SERVICES

  • Challenge Funding - Developing and adopting policies and programs to provide basic health, mental health, and appropriate education services, including special education, for youth in the juvenile justice system as specified in standards developed by the National Advisory Committee for Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention prior to October 12, 1984.

  • J.A.I.B.G Funding - The Juvenile Accountability Incentive Block Grants (JAIBG) program is administered by the State and Tribal Assistance Division of the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP), Office of Justice Programs, U.S. Department of Justice.

  • Prevention Funding (Title V) - The Title V Community Prevention Grants Program established in the 1992 reauthorization of the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (JJDP) Act of 1974 is a Federal grants program to fund collaborative, community-based delinquency prevention efforts.

  • Prevention Formula Block Grant Funding (Title II) - Since early 1996, the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) has taken a comprehensive look at the regulation, 28 CFR Part 31, that guides the States' implementation of the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (JJDP) Act of 1974, as amended.
